Following the current surge in COVID-19 infections and multiple reports from our members that they have tested positive recently, your Board has discussed how we as an Association should respond to this current and serious situation.

Following is our strategy to address this to protect our members, the leagues and players we serve:

  1. We assume that all members either have no symptoms or have not tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, for COVID-19 tests taken or any exposures to someone who has tested positive over the last 10 days,
  2. If you have tested positive for tests taken over the last 10 days or been exposed to anyone who has tested positive, please inform our Assignor and Co-assignor so that you may be removed from game assignments and not be assigned to any games,
  3. You will become eligible for assignment once you no longer have any symptoms of the virus, i.e., you are asymptomatic, and satisfy any ONE of the following THREE conditions:

i. Your positive test (Antigen or PCR) was taken at least 10 days ago and/or you have been in isolation/quarantine for 10 days following exposure to COVID-19, OR
ii. You have obtained two negative tests (Antigen or PCR) taken at least 24 hours apart, OR
iii. You have obtained a doctor’s note stating you have recovered from the virus completely (probably easier and less costly to satisfy one of the two requirements above).

  1. We request that you notify the Assignor which one (only one, and no symptoms, is required) of the above options you have satisfied to make yourself available for assigning to games.

We greatly appreciate everyone’s diligence and care in keeping our Assignor informed on a timely basis to protect us all – individually and as an association.

If you have not tested positive or been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days, you do not have to do anything at this time with respect to SBSRA.
