The TM23 Foundation is hosting its second annual youth soccer tournament for girls and boys on Tommy’s Field at the Westwood Recreation Center at 1350 S. Sepulveda Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90025 (parking available on-site, or at the adjacent Federal Building). This friendly competition is fully sponsored so that children across the city have access to play.
The event honors 12 year old Tommy Mark who passed away unexpectedly in 2018 and whose spirit continues to brighten our world with more play. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards refurbishing Tommy’s Field in perpetuity.
The event is designed to foster creativity, community and passion for the game.
Format
- 3 eight team brackets
- Boys Older
- Boys Youngers
- Girls
- Two divisions per bracket
- Winners from each bracket advances to a final game
- 7v7 (6 plus goalkeeper)
- 20-minute halves
- 5-minute halftimes
