Throughout the upcoming year, the U.S. Soccer Refereeing Department will run a series of Continuing Education Lifelong Learning (CELL) webinars, focused on the U.S. Refereeing Way. Each month will cover a specific theme, with separate sessions specific for referees, and referee coaches.
The aim of the series is to provide practical education that supports match officials and enhances their experience, with sessions designed to focus on the practical application of the topics on the field. They will look at the key moments referees face during matches and how they can recognize, manage, and respond to them.
Sessions for referee coaches will focus on the latest content and how to teach it. The goal is to ensure coaches have confidence and clarity to deliver the material across the country.
The list of webinars for 2026 are listed below, with each session commencing at 7:30pm ET. Registration invites will be sent each month, with more details for the March session listed below.
| Join us on Wednesday, March 25th for the first Referee CELL Webinar for 2026 on Positioning & Movement – Set Plays, presented by Jeffrey Solis, FIFA & Concacaf Refereeing Instructor. This session will be for anyone with an active Referee license of any level. Information for the Referee Coach session in March will be sent directly to all Referee Coach license holders.
